What is a Trademark?
A trademark is part of the Intellectual Property Assets (intangibles) of the owner.
It is an exclusive right allowing the owner to exclude third parties from using the same or a similar trademark in a given territory.
It may consist in a name, a logo, a number, a colour or a combination of colours, a shape or other sign used to identify the owner's products or services.
